FeCr price slide may stop in China soon

Chrome alloy prices kept descending in China in August, as predicted by Metal Expert. As of the writing time, HC FeCr (50 Cr; 6-8 C) was available at RMB 6,800-7,100/t ($0.77-0.80/lb Cr) EXW, and LC FeCr at RMB 13,000-13,200/t ($1.23-1.25/lb Cr) EXW. US dollar prices lost 8, while yuan prices fell by 6 due to the weaker currency. Prices were pressured by higher supply amid seasonally slower demand.
