Seasonal lull in European Mn alloy market to last till late August

In July, Mn alloy quotes in Europe remained mostly flat on a seasonal lull. Weighted-average price of SiMn (65 Mn; 17 Si) went down to EUR 973/t DDP (-EUR 12/t) due to discounts from traders, who were selling the imported SiMn on weak demand and euro depreciation. At the same time, the offers of HC FeMn (75 Mn) remained flat at EUR 968/t DDP.
