FeCr price downturn may continue in China

Cr alloy quotes rolled back in China in mid-July as production recovered in key provinces after environmental inspections. Still, with a price increase early in the month, average level stays some 1 above June prices. The current FeCr (50 Cr; 6-8 C) offers are being made within RMB 7,200-7,400/t EXW, down 6 from early July's level. Imported alloy from Kazakhstan and South Africa is available at $0.98/lb Cr CIF and $0.94/lb Cr CIF respectively, adding 3 month-on-month.
