Silicon alloy prices to stabilize in Europe

Even though some suppliers attempted to raise prices, silicon alloy quotes were largely moving down in Europe in June. Neither persistently limited supply nor the weaker euro against the US dollar could reverse the trend. After all quarterly contracts were struck, the average FeSi (75 Si) price reached EUR 1,454/t in the region, EUR 60/t down month-on-month. Prices under quarterly deals declined by nearly EUR 200/t q-o-q.
