The Midwest Independent System Operator announced this week the creation of a fourth financial trading hub located in Minnesota in support of its launch of the region's centrally dispatched electricity markets on April 1. The Minnesota hub will join the Cinergy, Michigan and Illinois hubs in facilitating wholesale market sales and purchases of electricity within the Miao.
