Salzgitter’s distribution business gets satisfactory results on better environment in EU market

Salzgitter’s Trading Business Unit virtually managed to reflect its last year’s pre-tax profit in H1 FY 2016, mainly owingto the steel prices recovery in European steel trading amid acceleration of anti-dumping measures. Meanwhile, in itstrading outside the EU the company has struck with a lack of projects and low prices, which weighted on sales results.
