US: Deadline extended for Delphi/GM deal

DELPHI has been given additional time to finalise a funding agreement with former parent General Motors, the US Treasury and its lenders. According to Reuters, citing recently filed court papers, a hearing is now scheduled for 21 May for final approval of the GM agreement. This reportedly increases the amount of funding available to Delphi to US$450m.
