摘要

As the country is looking more and more likely to miss a target of having 100 hydrogen fueling stations up and running by March 2016, the country's three biggest vehicle manufacturers have announced new measures to try to get hydrogen fuel-cell cars off the ground. In a joint statement, Toyota, Nissan, and Honda announced they would' spend up to ¥6B ($48.92MM) to help cover the operating costs of new stations. The funding will be limited to ¥11MM ($89,700) per year per station. The companies plan to divvy up the cost based on how many fuel-cell vehicles each sells: so far, Toyota is the only company with such a car on the market at all, while Honda is planning to release one in March 2016 and Nissan in 2017.
