According to the EIA, the national average retail price for regular gasoline was $2.793/gal on July 6, a 0.8￠/gal slip from the June 29 price, while RFG's national average was $2.982/gal, nearly flat with just a 0.3￠/gal decrease on the week. Houston, Texas' $2.488/gal was the lowest price for both regular gasoline and RFG, while Los Angeles, California's $3.532/gal was the highest for both grades.
