More Overhaul For Azerbaijan Refinery Modernization

State Oil Co. of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) announced a series of awards in f rst-quarter 2016 for its ongoing modernization and expansion program at its Heydar Aliyev ref nery in Baku, Azerbaijan. Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) f rms such as Amec Foster Wheeler, UOP LLC, Technip and SOCAR-KBR Ltd., a joint venture between SOCAR and KBR Inc., have secured major contracts that, upon completion, will increase the ref nery's crude processing capacity from 6 mtpy to 7.5 mtpy.
