How to help the company prepare for Ukraine's accession to the WTO?

The process of Ukraine's accession to the World Trade Organization has now moved to the level of enterprises. These are the direct recipients of all benefits and risks that Ukraine's accession to the organization bears. While governmental bodies are only bound to create the most effective economic environment in the country to adjust enterprises to work under rules and standards of the WTO, attempts of business associations are mostly aimed to prepare entrepreneurs themselves for opening of national markets. In this process, the role of national structures of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is extremely significant. On behalf of the World business organization, ICC acts as a standing WTO consultant for liberalization of trade and investment activities. From the point of view of global business community, ICC influences agenda of the WTO Ministers' conferences and develops recommendations for resolving top-priority economic problems.
