Import of chromic ore and concentrate to Russia exceeded 515 ths. tons in accordance with the preliminary results of the first ten months of the year 2002. the prices herewith averaged at the level USD/MT 126. imported chromic ore constituted approximately USD 65 mn in terms of value. Also portochrom was delivered to Russia in the period under review. Volumes of its shipments constituted a bit more than 150 tons with an average price USD/MT 435. approximately 75 percent of the total deliveries of chromic ore and concentrate to Russia in January -October 2002 were made from Germany and the Netherlands.
