摘要

At present a number of important factors define the necessity to develop tight trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Belarus. We are connected by traditional friendship and neighboring ties, while our national interests are characterized with geographical proximity and complementary of economies. Trade and economic cooperation remains among priorities of relations between Ukraine and Belarus. Ukrainian-Belarus trade turnover reached USD 1,903.17 mn in 2005 and increased by USD 740.3 mn (63.7 percent) against results of 2004. In particular, trade turnover in goods amounted to USD 1,831.88 mn (growth by USD 666.86 mn or 68.2 percent).
