The Global CFI has added $0.81/t in late Nov-early Dec despite the fact that freights have stabilized in the Mediterranean Sea and the lower Baltic, while those have even sagged by $0.21/t in the Black Sea region. The Index has again been driven by a $5.04/t surge in the Azov Sea CFI and a $1.03/t hike in the Gulf of Finland CFI. A noticeable downturn in VLSFO and MGO prices allowed coaster owners working in North Europe and Med to hit TCE records once again.
