After an initial batch of 1,000 cars is built for model year 2013 starting in November 2012, production of Volvo Car's V60 Plug-in Hybrid, the world's first diesel PHEV, will increase to between 4,000 and 6,000 units as of model year 2014. About 30% of total volume will go to Sweden and the other Nordic countries. Volvo Car networks in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Britain will have shares of between 5% and 15% of production each. Volvo Car Corporation expects that 80% of total sales will be company cars.
