pH measurement using ISFET technology

pH is certainly one of the most important and frequently measured of all chemical parameters.Currently use of a glass electrode is by far the most widespread and commonly used method of pH measurement.However,especially in the food industry,the risk of breakage limits the usability of the common glass electrode.Ion sensitive field-effect transistor(ISFET)microtechnology enables the design of robust,glass-free pH electrodes which means that reliable pH measurement can be carried out in areas where the use of glass may impose a danger.
