Steel Dynamics acquires US-based facility from CSN

(SDI), one of the major steel producers and metals recyclers in the US, announced entering intoa definitive agreement to acquire Indiana based Companhia Siderurgica Nacional, LLC (Heartland asset) from CSNSteel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brazil’s Companhia Siderurgica Nacional for $400 million. This acquisition is thecontinuation of the company’s growth strategy to expand the share of high value-added products.
