US starts anti-circumvention probe into Deacero small diameter wire rod

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an anti-circumvention inquiry regarding imports of small diameterwire rod produced by Mexico’s Deacero.DOC has to determine “whether certain imports of carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Mexico with actualdiameters less than 4.75 mm produced by Mexico’s Deacero is circumventing the antidumping duty (AD) order oncarbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Mexico,” according to the official statement.
