Russian suppliers to increase coking coal prices by 5%

Russian suppliers of coking coal intend to achieve higher prices in January, relying on the positive dynamics in theglobal market in December. The contracts already signed through January will hinder them in their attempts. Russian producers of coking coal plan to pass a 5% hike in Q1 amid generally positive December results on the internationalmarket. However, price increases will be held back by the contracts signed with consumers through January,so it is more likely that consumers will be able to postpone price increases to February at least.
