The mining giant Vale SA faced one more suspension of its operations, this time atMariana complex, Minas Gerais state.On March 20, Vale temporarily and preventively suspended operations of theAlegria mine in the Mariana complex, despite the stability of its structures. Accordingto the miner, the results of a preliminary analysis of its structures were inconclusiveunder stress conditions, and as such, were unable to confirm its stability.
