Domestic rebar price in turkey inches up in lira

As Turkey’s lira has indicated some weakening against the US dollar since last Friday, local mills have started the week with new domestic rebar price revisions.Turkey’s largest rebar producer ICDAS was among the frst ones to increase its offers by TRY 24/t since the end of last week to TRY 3,186/t EXW Biga and TRY 3,227/t CFR Marmara. Considering the lira rate softening, the mill’s offers in the US dollars remained at the previous levels – $475/t EXW and $480/t CFR, respectively.
