NDRC publishes list of Al smelters that obtain alumina importing license

In a bid to strengthen the macro-control measure on primary aluminum industry and ease supply tightness of alumina for aluminum smelter, the National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC) together with other relevant authorities and experts have selected, examined and determined the aluminum smelters that are qualified to get alumina importing license based on general trading method. The NDRC in September published the first batch of qualified smelters and it will award the license to more smelters according to market condition of alumina and aluminum.
