Shanxi Huaze put Al & Electricity project into commercial production

Shanxi Huaze Aluminum & Electricity Co., Ltd( Hejin city of Shanxi province) on September 25 put its combined project of primary aluminum and electric power into commercial operation, Mr. Xiao Yaqing, general manager of Chalco, attended the commissioning ceremony of the project. The project includes construction of an aluminum smelter, a coal-fired power station and an anode carbon plant. Construction of the combined project started in September 2003 and the total investment of the project is 6.1 billion yuan(USD 754 million)
