Thanks to good performances and the improved manufacturing technology, more and more aluminum profile, sheet and other semis are used to make ship container and the demand for aluminum semis from Chinese container industry is expected to grow steadily along with the boom of the industry, industrial insiders said at the "2005 China International Aluminum and Transportation Forum". Aluminum semis have some advantages compared with steel materials in terms of light weight, corrosion resistance, flexibility, stability under low temperature and this has been widely accepted in the container industry. So, more and more containers are now made up of aluminum semis.
