1+4 hot continuous rolling line comes on stream at SWA

Chongqing-based Southwest Aluminum (Group) Co., Ltd(SWA), Chinese leading aluminum semis producer, on June 28 (the company's 40 anniversary) brought its newly-build 1+4(one breakdown mill + 4 stand tandems) hot continuous roiling line on stream. The production line has a capacity of 350,000-450,000tpy flat rolled aluminum products(FRPs). It is the largest one of its kinds in China and one of the most advanced in the world's aluminum fabrication industry Building of the production line has beer oue of key projects supported by Chinese government and the project has been a highlight in Chinese aluminum industry. The commissioning of the production line is a milestone for Chinese aluminum fabrication industry.
