摘要

This paper describes PSO and GA methods for electrical transmission system optimal place and sizing of UPFC to attain the resilient action of the power system from generation to the distribution along with the aggressive growing of load to manage these aggressive loads FACTS devices. The growing of power electronic and the design FACTS devices will also take an additional useful position to operate the power system with more dependability. UPFC is one of the types of Shunt/Series FACTS device, which improved voltage profile and losses and minimized appropriate placing and sizing. The planned method tested 14, 30 and 57 IEEE bus systems. The losses of the power system and Enhancement of the voltage profile can be analyzed by integrating the UPFC at optimal places with optimum sizes.
