Turkey’s Koc Haddecilik plans to commission a new electric steelmaking complex (1 mtpy) by end-April. The facilities in the shop are being upgraded now. A company source says the monthly output in 2013 will be 60,000 t of square billet supplied for re-rolling at the group’s plants. The unit is expected to reach full capacity 2014.
