Pig iron prices rise further in Far East

Pig iron prices have stayed on an upward track in the Far East. Suppliers remain bullish since scrap prices in the region have been moving up since late September, while those for pig iron started rising just in early November. Thus, the spread between pig iron and scrap prices decreased sharply, and exporters just want to restore it.
