Italian suppliers of plates continue giving discounts

The Italian market for plates is uncertain at the end of October. Sluggish demand and higher import pressure weigh on domestic prices, but the decrease in semis prices on the back of the US dollar devaluation against the euro is not considerable enough for suppliers to lower tags. Nevertheless, producers reduced prices in the middle of the month hoping to stir buyers up in this way.
