Injection Moulding of Long-glassfibre-reinforced PP

Long-glassfibre-reinforced polypropylene parts are usually made by injection moulding long glassfibre granules. A new one-step process makes it possible to compound PP and glassfibres together for direct manufacture as injection-moulded parts. Which of the two methods is better suited to a particular production task depends on the vagaries of parts production.
