Prices to get back on downward track in autumn

The Ukrainian market for steel scrap has stabilized in June – domesticprices for base-grade material (size of up to 1,200x1,500x600x600 mm;carload of over 55 t) have remained unchanged. Steelmakers are holdingoff announcing a decrease, as they are afraid to speed up the decline inthe material availability, since the spring peak in scrap collection is over.
