Prices to stop going down in July

Pig iron supply from the CIS keeps on growing amid relatively high biddingprices. In May Novolipetsk Steel has returned to the market, whileEVRAZ has raised its shipments. Ukrainian companies also contribute tothe increase in pig iron supply from the CIS. Metinvest plants producedsome 90,000 t of merchant material in April (50,000 t in March). Zaporizhstalhas put off launching BF No.3 again, but it seems likely the producerwill step up output in June and July.
