Prices to start decreasing in April

By mid-February domestic scrap prices decreased by nearly 10% assteelmakers saw no point in keeping their bids high amid extremely adverseweather conditions throughout Ukraine. Given increasing activityin the export segment, purchase prices for base-grade scrap (size ofup to 1,200?1,500x600x600 mm, carload of over 55 t) will move back upto the January level by the end of the month, Metal Expert forecasts.
