Steelmakers failed to restrain a scrap price rally due to intense domesticcompetition in November. The global trend reversal with pricesadding $15?20/t was an additional driver for the increase. As a result,average monthly prices for the base-grade material (size of up to1,200?1,500x600x600 mm; carload of over 55 t) have gone up by 5?6%in Ukraine, also because of hidden bonuses.
