Mack Joins Volvo in 2015 U.S. DME Truck Plan

Mack announced June 20 that it’s joining parent company Volvo in a plan to introduce trucks in 2015 fueled by dimethyl ether (DME) for the U.S. market. The first offering will be on Mack “Pinnacle Axle Back” truck models, according to the company. Volvo in contrast is offering a DME version of its “D13” heavy-duty engine for the 2015 U.S. market (see Diesel Fuel News on 06/10/2013).
