28% of U.S. Trucks Meet U.S. EPA Post-2006 Emissions Limits

According to data compiled by R.L. Polk for the Diesel Technology Forum (DTF), 28% of all U.S. Class 3 through Class 8 registered diesel trucks are 2007-through-2012 model years, all which have diesel-particulate filters along with various types of controls for nitrogen-oxide (NOX) emissions. That percentage will grow every year as older U.S. trucks are scrapped and replaced by new, ultra-low-emissions diesel trucks.
