The Center for Climate & Energy Solutions (C2ES, formerly the Pew Center on Global Climate Change) on June 4 released a report titled Leveraging Natural Gas to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions. The report – funded by the American Gas Association and the American Clean Skies Foundation – points out that natural gas combustion is lower on net carbon-dioxide (CO2) emissions than coal or petroleum combustion.
