摘要

Tanatalum(V)oxide has attracted considerable attention in microelectronics due to its dielectric constant for use in integrated capacitors[l],in advances catalysts [2,3],storage energy[4].Also,nanoparticles of Ta_2O_5 has been used as biomaterials in filled resins because its properties like low toxicity due to its high state oxidation,chemical inertness,biocompatibility,radiopacity and in nanometer sized translucent[5,6].The preparations ofre are few reports for the preparation of Ta_2O_5 at nanometer scale.There are few reports about the synthesis of Ta_2O_5 at nanometer which include the use of organogelators as structure directing agent for the preparation of nanotubes[7].Chan et.al.prepared nanoparticles of Ta_2O_5 by a non aqueous condensation of tantalum ethoxide [6].Although,a sol gel route in the presence of Poly-L-Lysine has been used for the preparation of silica nanoparticles [8-10];in this work a similar route is for the first time applied to obtain Ta_2O_5 nano-rods.
