Asia Pacific is the second most attractive region in our Medical Devices Risk/Reward Index. Japan, South Korea and China offer the highest Rewards, supported by large market sizes, high production and large populations. Conversely, Pakistan and Bangladesh have the lowest Rewards, hindered by very low per capita spending resulting in disproportionately small markets for the large but predominantly rural populations.
