The majority of demand will be retained from Europe/North America in the short term, as the virus is expected to become endemic. With unknowns concerning variant prominence, monitoring will be key to quashing future outbreaks. For countries implementing an eradication policy, demand will remain consistent, alongside the low number of cases. In terms of absolute value, demand will be lower than countries that do not implement an eradication strategy.
