Key View: Asia's medical device market will grow by a 2020-2025 CAGR of 7.3% in weighted local currency terms, down from 7.4% for the 2015-2020. Overall, we expectto see improved profitability for medical devices by the end of 2021 and into 2022, followinga tough 2020, particularly given our view that the region's economies will benefit from positive base effects from last year as well as a gradual normalisation in domestic activities. However, overhang from the Covid-19 pandemic will remain through H221 for many territories.
