Intelligent Computing in the Age of Information

Operation and maintenance funds are misallocated in the Marine Corps budget because of stockage miscalculations and expiration of Class Ⅰ, Ⅴ, Ⅶ, Ⅷ, unacceptable risk acceptance, and contracted intermodal transportation of unrequired personnel and equipment. However, the current trends are toward development of artificial robotics and reducing the physical burden on a Marine; this is the wrong application of funds. The Marine Corps should invest on probabilistic computing in order to reduce or illuminate commanding officers' historically accepted "fog of war" in previously described logistics functions1.
