Russian imports slide

Western Europe imported 19pc less Russian gas between January and October compared with the same period last year. This year's imports reached 111bn m3 by the end of October, 26bn m3 less than in the same 10 months of last year. The shortfall was 27bn m3 at the end of September and 27.3bn m3 at the end of August.
