China Imports 14.04 Mil MT of LNG in Jan-Feb, Up 27%

According to the trade statistics of China, the country’s LNG imports in January-February 2021 amounted to14.04 million mt, up by 27.2% from the same period a year ago. Imports in January hit the record high of 8.49 million mt,up by 27.5% year on year, which was the first over 8 million mt in a single month. February imports exceeded last year tooby 26.7% to 5.55 million mt.
