In late November, Indonesian Coal Mining Association (ICMA) made a coal trade agreement with China CoalTransportation and Distribution Association (CCTD). Accordingly, China will import US$1.467 billion worth of thermalcoals from Indonesia in the year 2021.On the one hand, the Government of Indonesia decided to set the goal for the coal production volume in 2021 at550 million tons as with the case in 2020, of which 155 million tons are meant for domestic consumption and 395 milliontons are meant for export.
