London—Commodity slab prices in the Black Sea market were gaining sharply, supported by a strong HRC market this week, sources said April 14. The last transaction prices reported by market players were $820/mt CIF Marmara and $830-$835/mt CIF Iskenderun, market participants said. This implied that the $800/mt FOB Black Sea level was achieved by CIS sellers.
