Capesize freight rates rise on key trading routes

The Capesize market maintained the momentum of the previous week and recorded a strong opening for the new trading week on Jan. 11. Freight rates saw strong improvements on all the key trading routes. The short-term outlook was bullish amid a strong push from the freight forward agreement segment. “It seems [the Capesize freight rates] will keep going up.
