Turkish mills raise domestic scrap and rebar list prices

Bursa—Some major Turkish mills have increased their lira-denominated domestic scrap and rebar list prices further, due to accelerated depreciation in Turkish lira and relatively strong scrap pricing. Following a two-week rising trend, S&P Global Platts' assessment for Turkish imports of premium heavy melting scrap 1/2 (80:20) was at $460/mt CFR on March 5, down $1/mt on day.
