Rafaella Resources to ramp up tungsten project in Spain: executive

London—Minerals explorer and developer Rafaella Resources is ramping up its Santa Comba tungsten project in the Galicia region of Spain, managing director Steven Turner said April 28. The company is working to install a pilot plant to produce its first tungsten concentrate from its existing underground mining operation by September – it will initially produce only a small volume – in order to better understand the processing ahead of commissioning the larger open pit project by the end of the year.
