Asia phenol June projections shaken; hope in TA, derivative start-ups

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Asia phenol players projected shaken outlook for June, following the downtrend in H2 May. However, many sellers were hopeful that the turnarounds and derivative start-up could reverse the downtrend. In the week ended 28 May, prices were assessed at $1,220-1,270/tonne cost and freight (CFR) China Main Port (CMP), down by $30/tonne week on week.
